Scott Welle
Outperformers are not born; they’re made. We ALL have the capacity to “raise our game,” and Scott Welle has spent more than 15 years helping people do this, personally and professionally. Scott’s 10 best selling books, articles, videos, podcasts and online programs inspire hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. He has a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology and was named the 2021 Midwest Motivational Speaker of the Year.
For “fun” (and because he’s a little crazy!), he’s completed 34 marathons, 5 Ironman triathlons, a 100-mile ultra marathon, and serves others by showing them how to tap into the mindset of challenging their self-limiting beliefs and aspiring to Outperform every day.
What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?
My coaching is rooted in the psychology of peak performance – the cognitive and behavioral underpinnings of why we do what we do. Because of this, I’m able to help people challenge limiting beliefs that may be holding them back, achieve new levels of personal and professional performance, and find fulfillment while they’re doing it.
What according to you has been the most critical thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
Anytime I’m speaking or coaching, I look for three things: First, what has worked for me. Second, what I’ve seen work for others. Third, the trends or findings in the latest research. If all three of these boxes are checked, I’m confident it is a correct idea that will yield significant results for people.
Dana Cavalea
I spent my career as the Director of Performance/ Head Performance Coach for the New York Yankees, leading the team to a World Series Championship in 2009. Everybody Needs a Coach- but not just any Coach. A Coach that will shoot you straight, not BS you, and one that actually worked on the front lines in the highly competitive, pay to play World of professional sports and high level business.
The Coaching World is filled with hacks today- many Corporate drop outs that took a weekend certification and now try to get high performers to change their life by focusing on fluff.
Julie Gurner
Most people know the potential they inherently carry, but few will achieve that level of performance. They don’t know how to unlock it. My private coaching practice centers on taking you, the high flyer still performing-at-less-than-your-best, to the peak of your performance spectrum. The most common client I see is at the top of their game but has plateaued, or worse, hit a wall.
It afflicts everyone… from professional athletes to executives and founders running multinational companies. Whether you’re relied upon to deliver the win… or performance against your growth KPIs… the weight of that responsibility can be crushing.
Jason Fitzgerald
I started Strength Running in 2010 because I knew I could help runners avoid the mistakes that nearly sidelined my own running. After finishing the 2008 New York City Marathon in 2:44, I developed a severe ITB injury. I was sidelined for six months, wondering if I would ever be able to run pain-free again. But that injury transformed my thoughts on running healthy and injury prevention.
My training changed dramatically and I finally “cracked the code” of my constant injury cycle. With my new training philosophy, I’ve only had one major injury since 2009. I’ve since run more than ever and ran a PR at the Philadelphia Marathon in 2:39:32.
Brad Stulberg
My work explores principles of mastery and well-being that transcend capabilities and domains. I am particularly interested in the philosophical and psychological foundations of excellence, and the habits and practices necessary to attain it.
I’ve learned that whether someone is trying to qualify for the Olympics, start a company, craft a creative masterpiece, break ground in mathematical theory, or raise a family, many of the practices underlying fulfillment, sustainable success, and well-being are the same, supported by scientific evidence, and available to everyone.
