Alex Strang
My journey to becoming The Mental Fitness Coach and founder of Moment Company started 9 years ago when I worked myself into a severe burnout. It resulted in short-term memory loss and a number of other really unpleasant symptoms. Not a nice place to be! But from this pretty brutal personal experience, came a real positive – and preventative mental healthcare became my life’s mission.
The two questions I was looking to answer were – how can I develop the tools to ensure this doesn’t happen again? And can I equip the people around me with them?
Emily
You’re a woman who’s driven and accomplished. You’ve done everything you were told to do. Culture tells us that we “achieve” happiness through promotions, new cars, and vacations. Yet…
You may feel restless, empty or disconnected. Productivity may not feel as….satisfying as it used to. You’re out of touch with your feelings.
You may be going through the motions of life but not living intentionally. You push through adversity and get the job done.
Lisha
I’m passionate about helping high-achievers like you, and want to help you love and enjoy your life even more. It all began with one word – “astonished.” I was in first grade, and my parents lavishly praised me when I said it during dinner one night, exclaiming, “Wow, that’s such a big word for a first grader!” I ate it up – both the dinner and the praise.
I was hooked. From that point on, I pursued continued approval by pushing myself to achieve more and more. The self-induced pressure lead to chronic stress, tear-filled nights, meltdowns, and breakdowns, starting when I was in middle school and continuing into adulthood.
Bonnie Skinner
Bonnie Skinner is a Registered Psychotherapist with a background in Neuroscience, and over a decade of experience in helping individuals strengthen their mental fitness skills. As a CEO, executive coach, a wife and Mom, Bonnie knows first hand the unique challenges business owners and executives face on their journey to success.
From that small voices that whispers, “Can I even do this?” to the much louder voice yelling “I am in WAY over my head” Bonnie has spent thousands of hours putting herself and others on the path to “I’ve got this!”
Dorice Horenstein
I came to America from Israel at the age of twenty one. I grew up in a wonderful family, with four other siblings and two terrific parents. We were not financially wealthy. I remember my mom working three jobs at times just to keep the family afloat while my dad built homes as a contractor. I remember wearing hand-me-downs (which, by the way, I love doing with my girlfriends nowadays.)
I shared one room with my three sisters growing up, and I fondly recall talking late into the night, sharing secrets, crushes on boys, and heart-wrenching love stories that went as quickly as they came. This sisterly intimacy affected how bonded we became. This is what I value today in friendships, relationships, and workplaces— humans’ need to have positive and healthy relationships that bond us together.
