This led to me taking on clients that I really shouldn’t have. At the beginning of 2019, I had a few awful clients one after another. It got so bad that some days I would be reduced to tears.
As time went on, it became harder and harder to get out of bed in the morning. This was the start of the darkest period of my life.

Each day would be worse than the last. I began having these uncontrollable emotional breakdowns, what I later learned were anxiety attacks. I couldn’t go on this way. I had to make changes in my life and business. The main change was to find the people I could help the most, those who would value the expertise and support I could offer.

I have worked as a TV Casting Producer in Ireland for over 12 years; working on the biggest shows in the country like Goggle Box Ireland, The Tommy Tiernan TV Show and many more. Deep down I’ve always known I’m a leader but my inner critic was so loud I was afraid of this. I was afraid of my vision. And I was petrified of being visible.

I used to dismiss my inner knowing by telling myself that living your vision was some naff American talk. And that being visible wasn’t that important. When I discovered coaching I knew I was home. I had found my thing. It was time to step up.

My career includes many years in PR and marketing, writing books, and then retraining as a business psychologist and career coach.
