Jane Austin

For 15 years Jane worked in advertising and marketing in New York for clients that included Procter and Gamble, L'Oreal, and Lipton Soups. When her two children were still young, she left the corporate world and began buying, renovating and selling homes in northern New Jersey. During this period, she also obtained her Contractors License and studied interior design at Parsons and New York School of lnterior Design.
Prior to embarking on her Real Estate career, she operated Jane Austin Design, LLC and was an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).Jane and her husband became acquainted with the Mad River Valley when their son went to school at the Green Mountain Valley School (GMVS) in Waitsfield.
It didn’t take long for them to realize that the Mad River Valley was not only a wonderful ski town but a terrific spot for all seasons! In 2008, they moved to the Valley full time and shortly afterwards, Jane began her real estate career with Roth Real Estate, a well established family owned company that had served Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley since 1961. While working at Roth Real Estate, Jane was one of the highest producers among real estate agents in the Mad River Valley area. She became a licensed real estate broker in 2016, and is a member of the National Association of Realtors. She holds designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS).
