Marilyn O’Hearne
Marilyn O’Hearne MA MCC delivers her own Culturally Intelligent Coaching™ programs for coaches, leaders and teams in over 40 countries, since 1998, including the United Nations She authored Breaking Free from Bias, four book chapters and has delivered more than 50 programs and interviews globally. She is an award winning, pioneering advocate for coaching diversity and inclusion as well as integrating coaching and cultural competencies.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?
I support coaches, leaders and teams to move from the uncertainty of our rapidly changing, culturally complex world to the clarity, focus, confidence and innovation needed to unlock potential so all can live in prosperity and peace (my vision). With my big picture, systemic approach, my centered listening and honest, compassionate truth telling, trust and fresh perspectives are quickly generated.
What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
My coaching clients and mentees appreciate my “peaceful presence, creating a safe space to explore” and “great belief in each member's capability as coaches, this is encouraging;” resulting in increased confidence while advancing their coaching as well as ICF Credential; even attaining MCC after being told by a previous mentor that they could not.
Because cultural intelligence is expected in our global, diverse environment and now by ICF, my mentees discover how to unlock their and their clients’ full potential and prosperity while differentiating themselves in the marketplace with leading edge CQ, which was not part of most’s original training.
