Dr. Dar Hawks
Dozens of failed relationships sent me on a journey to better understand the impact I can have on a relationship. Self-awareness and professional training in couples, life and family coaching enabled me to pursue my mission: helping others create healthy relationships their way.

I created my Relationship Success System to help others have the tools and support to fully understand their relationship and the power they have to shape that relationship into a healthy, happy, and harmonious relationship whether they stay together or not.
What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?
My approach to helping couples improve or save their relationship is based on the essential ingredients to a healthy relationship. I’ve created my Relationship Success System™ to help couples unlock these essential ingredients for a happy, healthy, harmonious relationship.
There are six areas that are essential for each partner to explore, learn and grow: being a healthy partner (emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, financial, and legal health), healthy relationship mindsets (what you think, feel, and say about yourself, your relationship and partner), healthy relationship behaviors, clean and curious communication, managing your own energy, and quality time together.
What according to you has been the most critical thing that has contributed to your success as a coach
The most important thing that's contributed to my success as a coach is ontological coaching ,the application of agile and business success methodology to relationships that allow space for transformation while also respecting each partner's nature and personality, shifting from a problem-solution (correction and how to fix it) mindset to a mindset of collaborating with a common goal of resolution (decision on a course of action that's repeatable, honoring of each person, and provides the result the couple seeks/wants), and the application of choice theory with internal motivation where each person is at choice and shifting from external influence to internal. This in addition to having a 'Divine Calling' moment that launched me as a couple's and marriage coach where a gentleman in the audience where I was keynoting came to me and said 'You're going to think I am crazy, but I just know you are the one to help me. My wife is packing her bags right now. Will you help me save my marriage?" I said yes, and they are still happy and healthy together 20 years later. I've been coaching couples ever since.
