Marcus Disselkamp
Marcus Disselkamp is a business coach for sustainable companies’ strategies in the digital world. He has already inspired several thousand very satisfied participants in his innovation workshops with his practical, methodically holistic and dynamic approach. He teaches at various business schools plus is a successful investor, podcaster and author on the topic of ‘Competitiveness in digital change’. Vision, strategy, innovation and digital transformation processes are in good hands with him.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?
My business coaching covers the holistic aspects of digital innovations: from the use of digital technologies (such as IoT, data science, AI, 3D printers, metaverse, blockchain), to digital-orientated business models (such as service and data economy, platforms and ecosystems) and the management of change. I always keep the focus on the profitability of (digital) innovations, customer centricity, operational excellence and employer engagement.
What according to you has been the most critical thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
Crucial to my success as a business coach and process promoter is my deep understanding of the possibilities of digital technologies, modern business models and people's (predominantly) emotional barriers to change. As a method ‘master’, I integrate approaches from Scrum, OKR, Lean Startup, Design Thinking, Value Innovation, Fit for Market as well as Stage Gate and many more. I can also empathise very well with the position of my clients, as I have faced similar challenges myself as a top manager, supervisory board member and investor.

JOE NEWSUM
Having navigated the management consulting world for 7+ years, I've seen its limitations firsthand. The model is fundamentally broken and often leaves organizations with little more than polished PowerPoint presentations and substantial invoices. This approach falls short in driving genuine transformation or touching the hearts and minds of the people within these organizations. It's a realization that has profoundly shaped my professional path, steering me away from consulting towards a more impactful and fulfilling role in coaching.
Over the past six years, I've dedicated my efforts to coaching CEOs and executives on strategy and leadership, employing a suite of methods, including executive coaching, business transformations, workshops, and training. My focus is on the high-leverage activity of elevating executives' and their teams' leadership competencies, skills, mindsets, and strategic thinking. I've witnessed firsthand how enhancing the capabilities of a few at the top can have a cascading, enduring effect on the entire organization's performance. This ripple effect fosters a culture of excellence and execution, driving positive change throughout the company.
