What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?
I coach based on teaching the member motivational techniques and seeking purpose with within their lives. It is important to lead by example and be able to relate to the member. Have sympathy and empathy with them as they heal from trauma.
To succeed in mental health, you have to learn balance. Balance is very important for you as a counselor because you help people all day. Many people believe we just talk. That is far from the truth. Believe it or not, if your mind is filled with clutter and trash. How can you focus and move forward in life? So i say, stay consistent in your studies. You can never get enough knowledge. Stay organized and determined to help others change their lives.
What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
What sets me apart from others in the industry is that we are going to make changes no matter what. I motivate change and help others believe they are capable of coping with mental illness. My clients can relate to me because I have a similar story to them. I am most proud of my organization Restoring Bodies And Minds. RBM started in 2011 by helping others and today we are still changing lives. I am proud of my hard work to keep the doors open and the members motivated to attend the program. Most of all I’m proud that God chose me to be in this position. So I have accepted my calling and am passionate about the people I serve. I want others to know that I can only be me. I am not going to change to fit in with others, I love being different. Things I help others with are career knowledge, relationship issues, self-development, confidence building, mental health counseling, and daily living skills.

He is CEO of WISH Mindscience, a company specialized in mental health and executive coaching, where he works as a psychotherapist and coach specialized in helping people develop competency in relationships and emotional connectivity.
What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?
I support people who want to get better at relationships, be that managers, couples, members of teams, or individuals longing for a better connection with friends and family. Many years of studying and training in emotion science and emotionally focused therapy have helped me to distill numerous secrets of emotional connection. I help clients to realize these insights for themselves by inviting them to participate in hypnotic, experiential and emotionally focused moments of connection. By virtue of living new experiences, change within the client is nurtured and they become a better version of themselves in an organic and naturalistic way.
What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
The most significant finding I have made is that when you combine the insights from emotion-science, emotion-focused therapy with something like the imaginative realm of hypnosis you can create a unique setting for having new emotional and relational experiences. If you want to learn a martial art, you need to perform the martial art but interestingly research will show that both a real and an imaginative setting will lead to actual improvements in performance. My approach to emotionally-focused hypnotherapy is described in my contribution to Mark Jensen`s “Handbook of Hypnotic Techniques, Vol. 2: Favorite Methods of Master Clinicians (Voices of Experience)“.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?
I help leaders get better, teams work better together, and organizations support those leaders and teams by developing healthy, people-centered cultures. My coaching is designed to help leaders become more self-aware and build strong relationships while keeping accountable to the goals that they set for themselves and/or their teams. I combine sound leadership principles with culture, communication, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and mental fitness in the workplace, so leaders and their teams are healthier, happier, more fulfilled, and more productive.
What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
Ultimately, my family has contributed the most to my success as a coach. First, my family of origin, from whom I learned the value of faith, hard work, and lifelong learning. Then, my husband, who gave me the support and encouragement to follow my dreams and launch my business. And finally, my children, who inspire me to be creative, to try new things, and to celebrate my successes.

In 2010 Michael Hansen made the transition from 10 years as a professional golfer, to now having done more than 6000 hours of executive coaching. And that is something we say, it is what out clints say in writing – by the bucket-load.
We are about change. Meaningful, actionable, beneficial change. Change for those taking our courses and change for the companies that employ them.
What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?
We empower individuals to find their own self leadership voice. To come out of themselves and do so in comfort and security. We tailor our course to your specific needs, and we supply you with the tools to make the lessons learned work in reality – and do so immediately. The truth is we genuinely make a difference. And the difference we make is beneficial and long lasting, personally, and professionally. Like you we believe that, as they say in England, ‘the proof of the pudding is in the eating’. So, it’s in the words, the many, many heartfelt testimonials sent to us by our clients, that the truth and value of what we do comes out. They are on our website.
What we provide is common sense. But the simple truth is that it’s not common practice
What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
The reason why we are successful, is because we’re not about putting a check in the box – three days intensive training and “job done”. I come from the world of professional sport, and my mindset is that behavior and performance are the bottom line for any business or athlete. Without them a strategy, regardless of how magnificent and elegant it may be on paper, isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. Without leadership behavior and the performance that fosters, a business is nothing. So we always aim towards a positive change in behavior and that way an improved performance. And we have cracked the code on this.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
This might sound simplistic, but taking myself fully into each session has been the single most important thing that has contributed to my success as a coach. Specialising as I do in burnout, anxiety and lack of focus, I was inundated with clients struggling with exactly these during the two years of lockdown. And with each wave of Covid, things only got worse, and the reopening of the world brought with it its own challenges. I navigate the continuing storm one session at a time. In that moment, nothing else exists for me.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?
As a Mental Health Coach, I utilize an eclectic approach, adopting tools & techniques from CBT, Positive Psychology, NLP & Logotherapy. I support my clients to reach their goals by focusing & building on their inner strength & resilience. My clients learn the tools & techniques to live their lives ‘inside-out.’ When faced with unpleasant situations or obstacles that are outside of their control, they learn to maintain their underlying sense of optimism, resilience, hope & balance – secure in the knowledge that no matter what the situation is; they are enough, they can cope with the situation & things will get better.
What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
I engage with my clients in an empathetic, supportive & non-judgmental manner to help them increase self-awareness, build on their strengths, explore options & develop strategies to navigate their way through life’s challenges.
Almost all of my clients quote my empathetic, non-judgemental nature, thought-provoking questioning, and strong ability to understand and communicate as the reasons they enjoy working with me. So, I guess I can attribute the credit for my success as a mental health coach to these.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?
While historically, the mental health industry has sought primarily to diagnose and provide individuals mere coping mechanisms that leave them in pain and with a belief that they must settle, I help individuals turn around chronic mental health challenges through the SSS Method of Mental Conditioning which emphasizes creating a true Solution, by getting to the Source, and by establishing a system for Sustainability. While most people who pursue traditional therapy or counseling see little to no impact over many months or years, we routinely help people create deep and lasting change in 2-3 months on average.
What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
The most important thing in me helping anyone to change is helping them realize that any repetitive issues they are facing in themselves is simply a conditioned pattern of the mind, and that through a conditioning-based approach they can be in charge of how they think, feel, act, and, therefore, how they live. No person is ever confined to how they have lived in the past.

The focus of my coaching is creating simplicity in a complex world. By introducing a few powerful tools that are situation agnostic, my clients can apply them with ease and achieve the results they desire. I’ve coined a “words matter” approach. The ultimate discovery is how to transform disempowering language into effective and impactful communication.

It is so powerful and special when a client is comfortable and confident in your ability as a coach! What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
The single most important thing that has contributed to my success as a coach is the ability to teach others how to tap into the power of authenticity. Starting from a place of knowing and healing myself first, and then sharing that process openly has supported others on their mental well-being journey. Coaching others on tapping into their authenticity, creates a ripple effect. Clients discover their voice, identity, and life purpose which opens the door for true freedom, break through, and success to manifest in the life of those who utilize and implement the recommended resources, tools, and strategies.

MY JOURNEY
Initially, this was not my game plan.
Until 2010, I thought I would teach chemistry or work in a pharmaceutical company. Thankfully, I discovered, life had another plan, and through my mental health crisis I found my calling.
Possibly like you, in the beginning it took time for me to accept that there was a problem, to ask for help, and to find the right support. It also took time for me to let go of my old identity as someone with a mental illness once I was fully healthy and well.
Today, I struggle less within. I’m more focused, calm, and clear-minded than before. I’m also learning to stay true to myself, to be more loving and trusting of myself. It’s a great feeling – one I wish for you.
Of course, I didn’t get here alone. This kind of well-being and clarity is not something any of us can develop without the love and support of others. I’ve been blessed to have the support of my family, friends, spiritual counsellor, colleagues, community resources, and my loving partner along the way. Yes, it takes a village.
