Bill Harvey
Bill Harvey is a world-renowned leader in media research who invented many of the modern methods of marketing ROI optimization including big data, addressable commercials, passive peoplemeters, and many more. His books on personal growth optimization have been used by 34 universities. He is an Emmy winner and member of two industry Halls of Fame. He has consulted for hundreds of top officers of top companies and the U.S. military.
What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?
I do not use the word “coaching”. I’ve consulted for over a hundred Fortune 500 companies. For example, Client X, where I consult for the CEO, and for about two dozen of the other top leaders. My engagements are measured in financial improvements. My work inspires new ways of thinking and use of more scientific methods of media communication. I’ve always used neuroscience (e.g. Wharton) and was the first to use big data to expand upon the Maslow Hierarchy of Needs model. The ego in my theory is a bio-AI. These theories have worked well in improving the performance of marketing.
What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?
Onstage as a child I learned about Flow state from the inside. This led to a life of studying personal optimization, and scientific experimentation with big data and neuroscience. As a consultant my coaching is imparted subtly. My training in media and communications research plus my own entrepreneurial inventions give me valuable unique insights into the improvement of systems within marketing and media. Thus, I not only work on the thought and affective processes of executives I also help them make specific changes to product and marketing. Coaching appears in my books, blogs, and videos on Tik Tok and YouTube.
