Karen McCall
My approach to helping others is rooted in my own experience. Years ago, my financial life was in shambles. On the outside, I looked every bit the part of a successful career professional: I had the prestigious address, the designer wardrobe, the late model sports car, and a corner office in a landmark skyscraper in San Francisco’s financial district.
But behind that impressive façade lay a dirty little secret: “I had all the trappings of success, but the truth was, I was flat broke. ”Instead of saving, I was living paycheck to paycheck. I was driving with an expired license and my car registration was past due. I was behind in my rent and car payments.
Kathleen O’Grady
I have always taken an interest in my own recovery. Healing from shame and the low self-esteem that accompanied it informed my life-long curiosity and search to know and find answers. Art and design were always central to my sense of ‘place’ in the world and have been the lens through which I interpret the world. I express and experience much joy through my design work.
Resa Shore
I’m a straight talking (no BS!) money coach who gets a real charge out of helping you get in control of your money and eliminating the happiness-sucking anxiety that’s keeping you up at night.
I am a born problem solver and I have a built in compass when it comes to personal money management.
I possess an unusual mix of strong intuitive ability and concrete sequential thinking that makes me empathetic to where you are, yet laser focused on the realities of your finances.
Mikelann Valterra
I’ve always been fascinated with money and the almost mystical power it has.I studied it in college in the only way I knew how- economics. But that was so very dry.
Then in graduate school, I discovered the psychology of money, which was fascinating. I loved digging into the metaphysics of money, the spirituality of money.
I could even talk about brain science and personal finance. But there was one thing that bothered me about money- I didn’t have enough of it. This stressed me out at a fundamental level.
Linda Parmar
I am a woman who has been in recovery from alcohol for 6 years and counting. My recovery is the best thing that has happened to me. I was a Financial Advisor for 20 years in the banking industry in Canada and my recovery has brought me the realization about how much women in recovery need support with their finances.
I left my corporate job in 2019 and now working full-time working as a Recovery Coach who specializes in Financial Recovery ℠. I have received my designations as Certified Money Coach©, She Recovers® Coach, Certified Professional Recovery Coach and Financial Recovery℠ Counsellor.
