The corporate world is fiercely competitive. The concept of business has evolved dramatically over the years. Running a business in the 21st century is difficult and often frustrating.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

I believe that until an entrepreneur is happy, emotionally and physically healthy, and fully confident, their life and business will not meet their desires and expectations. Therefore, I have developed an integrative approach to coaching that combines Mindset Mastery and Strategic Business Development. With energy psychology tools such as the Emotional Freedom Techniques (aka EFT tapping), neuro linguistic programming (NLP), and visualization, entrepreneurs gain the confidence to succeed.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

My awareness that success and happiness do not hinge entirely on ideas, strategy, and experience. I have learned from my own life experiences, and those of countless clients, that the most powerful tool we possess is our mind. Thought management and emotional intelligence are key traits in respected leaders, so these are the foundation of my life and message as an entrepreneur’s coach. Throughout their coaching experience entrepreneurs step into their unfiltered leadership abilities to grow their businesses without barriers and limitations.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

I support Assistants in creating a financially successful Virtual Assistant business. My coaching addresses the mindset and limiting beliefs that are keeping them stuck along with providing them with support on creating a long-term strategy for growth. So that they can create a regular income doing what they love, whilst on their terms.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

The single most important thing that has contributed to my success has been my determination and resilience to continuously increase my learning through investing with coaches and mentors and applying my own knowledge back into my coaching business and providing high level support to my clients.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

I allow my intuition to guide me in my business coaching sessions with entrepreneurs. I combine my background in consultancy with my professional coaching to provide 60-minutes sessions with 30 minutes of coaching then 30 minutes of consulting. This way, my clients don’t need to go outside of my services to hire a consultant to complement their coaching. I use my intuition during these sessions and then consult with my clients on how to use their intuition in their businesses.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

Being of service first has always served me well as a professional coach. Most coachpreneurs think about making money first then later giving back. I say to flip that model. Be of service first then the money will follow. When I first became a coach, I provided pro bono coaching to get my feet wet. This allowed me experience, a sense of altruism, and media coverage which led to paying clients.

My coaching practice is built on authenticity and empathy. With the intention to know my client as deeply as possible, I am certified to use two tools that have been validated to provide information we could not get any other way. One of these is the VQ Profile, from Axiogenics® which measures thinking in 36 different areas. The 36 areas tell us about both the Assets and Biases in the thinking of the client. The other is the I.D.™ profile, which measures how we are wired, what the essence of who we are needs, to live life in stride naturally.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

Besides the other tools I’ve described, who I am and who I am being, is the most important contributor to my success. When I am with a client, I am totally present, it is like I am one with the client. My listening is complete, unconditional and generous. My intention is to be free of any assumptions by asking questions that lead to my hearing what is being said and also what is not said. From this place we know where we will focus our attention in our session.

I am not sure that I am different, but my success is my client’s success. They are part of TEAM LA. Coaching is a bidirectional learning process and the connection we develop, the plan we put in place, the freedom we allow ourselves to challenge each other take the level of trust to always wanting to do better and go further.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

Choosing a niche and developing the tools to support it has had a significant impact on my coaching practice. Onboarding coaching has become my specialty. Accompanying Executives, Managers and Professionals during their first 90 days to build a plan for success has been a key in the development of my branding. It motivated me to share the good practices into a web-based training program called the 90-DAY ONBOARDING PLAN.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

“The single most important thing is homing in on the client’s mental models and attuning the coaching conversation to crack the code to move them forward. Practicing this for 5000+ hours with a wide range of personality types through the challenges of business start-up. Choosing the most effective coaching methodology from multiple certifications to resonate with the client’s needs, drawing from Conversational Intelligence®, Positive Intelligence, Organizational & Relationship Systems Coaching, Co-Active Coaching, Living Systems Team Coaching and Core Dynamics Coaching”

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

I don’t just ask open-ended questions. I also integrate many powerful, cutting-edge and actionable tools and models that enable my clients to view their challenges and opportunities through new lenses and increase their overall leadership confidence and competence. These include the Enneagram, Developmental Models (the different leadership “operating systems” that are increasingly more effective in times of volatility, complexity and uncertainty), Polarity Thinking, Contextual Thinking, Practical Neuroscience and Mindfulness. I also integrate my background as an organizational consultant, understanding that all behavior occurs in context, and the root cause for much behavior lies outside individuals, rather than within them.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

Integrating my background as a psychologist with the organizational awareness developed through decades of work with my partner. (2) We created and led the leadership program for the top 800 leaders of a major city of almost 1M citizens. This provided the opportunity to refine and hone leadership curriculum that we know builds sustainable leadership capacity. (3) Many years exploring mindfulness and meditation, as well as how to evolve self-awareness and emotional intelligence. (4) Incessant curiosity about new material to integrate, including advances in neuroscience. (5) Experience with wide and diverse clientele including over a dozen Fortune 500 companies.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

I guide business owners to double their business sales within 2 years or less, also increasing profit by 2-4x or more. My HyperGrowth Method coaching programme is a framework painstakingly built through the analysis of clients who have successfully added at least £1m to their sales within two years, more than doubling the size of their businesses in the process. This step-change in their results produces a more valuable business and more importantly promises a financially secure future for themselves.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

The single most important thing that has contributed to my success is a series of powerful methods that now sit inside of The HyperGrowth Method. These include the Hypergrowth Business DNA model to focus on the highest value activities during the programme, the Flag & Mountain personal motivation model, the Cash Map for quickly modelling the fastest growth route for a business, the Gladiator Proposition for developing a compelling USP, and the Assemble Your Generals methodology for building high-performance management teams.

The Top Business Coaches

Jennifer hosts the Happy Productive podcast and goes the extra mile daily to help her clients’ dreams come true.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

We coach on mindset, habits, leadership development, and the multitude of tactical decisions entrepreneurs face. We set ourselves apart by creating a full service digital marketing agency for our clients and partnering with expert consultants on systems, processes and measuring KPI’s. So often we coached a client on their next steps, and because they didn’t have the time, skills, or team nothing would get done. The client didn’t get the full result of the coaching. We saw this as a problem and took responsibility to fix it. Now, we can coach a client on their next steps to grow their business, and if necessary, be their partner in making it happen.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

The single most important thing that has contributed to my success as a coach is my Win Happy approach. When we come to life from a happier place we are more successful – naturally. This approach is what helped me create my daily planner, Best Planner Ever. When I needed a tool to process negative emotion (instead of burying it) I developed the Best Journal Ever. It’s what motivated me to create our life coaching platform Goal Achievers and how I show up for my clients every day. We all face tough things. Showing up in our highest emotional states only makes us better at handling those things. I embrace this in my own life and I know my clients feel it when I show up for them.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

Trained by the UK Institute of Directors, I have successfully negotiated business deals… as well as scams, martial arts street fights, and car crashes on his global travels, but that’s a story for another day! As a self-confessed Social Evangelist, I embrace relationships across many social platforms.  Founding and hosting the UK’s top-ranking business podcast Industry Angel, I was nominated for a European influencer award alongside Gary Vaynerchuk and Tim Ferris. In his keynote speaking roles, I explain my love of personal branding through content creation and calls for my audience to begin their own projects as “no one is coming to save you”

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

I often share the burnout experience that landed me pushing through businesses meetings with beta-blockers and ultimately collapsing in hospital.  I subsequently fired myself from corporate life in 2015.  With a calling to share his thoughts on culture and leadership, I speak passionately about the need for leaders to protect their teams from workplace stress.  “People don’t leave a good position, they leave a bad manager.  A red felt pool table and a pinball machine does not tick the culture box”. This love of culture and leadership led me to find my leadership support company Carpeway.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

The single most important contributing factor to Stew’s success as a highly sought after coach is having mentors along his journey that supported his aspirations in becoming a no limits person. This has enhanced his innate ability to become a very intuitive, empathic, and deeply caring man, coach and believer in others.

The Top Business Coaches

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

I believe that entrepreneurs are the experts of their business—they just have to trust their own intuition instead of looking externally for answers. That is why I use my coach training (Whole Person Certified Coach®, ICF ACC) to help them choose the best marketing strategies for them, based on their personality and strengths. When business owners enjoy marketing and do things that align with their abilities, they have the best chances for success. I also help them develop their mindset as I believe you need both strong beliefs and a solid strategy to get results.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

I’ve learned to listen to my own advice around choosing marketing strategies that feel aligned to you. I’ve noticed that it’s so easy to jump from one strategy to the next and get caught up in “shiny object syndrome,” but staying laser-focused on just one or two channels is what makes business owners succeed in the long run. My coach training and extensive marketing background have allowed me to guide my clients in coming up with their own customized strategies that feel right for them and their business.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

I support business leaders and entrepreneurs in finding the intersection between company efficiency, profit, and employee development. My 6-month coaching programs are completely customized based on each client’s specific business situation and needs, with an emphasis on developing thoughtful systems and processes, and fostering effective communication and putting people first.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

What has contributed to my success the most has been my commitment to toggling between taking my clients through my proven 6-month programs and allowing space for reflection, conversation and discovery based on what they are going through at any given moment. My clients tell me how helpful it is to have a programmatic approach which shows them the roadmap to success, while also having the flexibility to make pit stops to dive deeper into specific challenges and issues as they arise.

He was a pioneer of remote business coaching, and with client success stories in more than a dozen countries Jacob continues to help founders achieve their lifestyle dreams and have fun along the journey.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

The majority of my clients have 12 to 96 employees, which gives them a specific challenge: they are large enough to have proven their business model and built a team, but the owners are still ultimately responsible for all 28 areas of their business.

They don’t have the time or budget to hire 28 different specialists. They need one person, a “private enterprise deep generalist” who can show them how all those areas are connected and which focus will deliver them the greatest immediate results.

Business owners have big, broad dreams; deep generalists like me help turn those into reality.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

I’ve learned to listen to my own advice around choosing marketing strategies that feel aligned to you. I’ve noticed that it’s so easy to jump from one strat

The first question a business owner ought to ask any coach: “Who is your coach?”

The unwillingness of many coaches to invest in their own coaching support is reflected in the commercial challenges they face. I credit my success to my mentors and coaches, from the first training I did in 2006-07 through to the ongoing investment I make for my team today.

We cannot put our hand on our heart and tell clients that investing in coaching will change their lives, unless we are also prepared to put our hand in our pocket and invest in coaching for ourselves.

Tom Wendt

Tom Wendt is a best-selling author and speaker who has presented scores of seminars on a wide range of topics. His most popular, Postpone Procrastination Now, has moved individuals from procrastination to action, and from self-doubt to sound decisions. What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

My coaching sessions are like my book, Live it – Really Live it! Offering simple, practical, self-empowering guidance and support. Every session is personally customized to meet my client’s unique needs. I intentionally do not offer a multi-session coaching package. My approach allows me to individualize each meeting.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

The foundational belief that has most contributed to my coaching success is my belief in and my utilization of The Law of Attraction. Whatever we believe about ourselves, our abilities, faults, talents, and desires is absolutely true in our minds. However, some of our beliefs are false. My strength is to isolate those false beliefs and reprogram your thinking through support, accountability, with the help of your innate wisdom. What we think about and give energy to expands in our lives. I’ll guide you to think about and give energy to your imagination, strengths, and visions.

While Jim is certified in Executive Coaching as well as in NLP, Jim’s style encompasses more of an empathetic and holistic approach to coaching, especially those that are working in a large corporate environment that is struggling to make an impact or want to make a big step change in their career. Having gone through what many of the clients have experienced, he can relate to the issues that they face. He gets to their level of thinking and helps guide them through the challenges of business uncertainties, both internal and external.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

Jim’s coaching success is built on his ability to be more than just guiding the client with introspective questions but provide some ideas to help them through the thinking process. Jim also views himself as a consulting partner. In addition, he helps the client visualize their situation through the use of models which helps them come up with possible action plans.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

I work with clients to quickly create sustainable change.  I have been involved in international executive and leadership development for more than 20 years in global organizations (many of which are amongst the Fortune 500.)  My coaching work is highly individualized and promotes sustained behavioral change.  I am known for quickly getting to know my clients and creating a safe environment of trust, which allows me to lead clients into uncharted territories. My powerful intuition, blended with my ability to shift perspective, opens the door for others to successfully and comfortably bring their ideas to light.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

The single most important thing is helping my clients (individuals and teams) uncover what makes them feel valued, heard and respected.  And then demonstrating the return on investment for the time and effort they put into making changes.  This is very individualized and can range from helping them better understand themselves using assessments (Hogan, DiSC, 360), to leading more effectively in any role they are in, to changing the collective culture, one behavior at a time.

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

As an entrepreneur myself, I’ve been through the highs and lows of being a business owner many times. I use my skills and experience to help entrepreneurs take a 360° view of their business, overcome obstacles, think outside of the box towards solutions and address the gaps between their current reality and where they plan to be in the future. I take a high performance, no excuses approach with my clients and work with them to actualize their goals.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

The most important thing that has contributed to my success is my ambition, energy and passion. I’ve never let doubts or fears get in the way of pursuing what I wanted, and in the face of adversity I have always forged ahead. I know firsthand that the only limits to what someone can achieve are the ones they impose on themselves, and I’ve always believed I was capable of whatever I set my mind to. That mindset has taken me incredibly far in my career.

The Top Business Coaches

What do you do differently or how is your coaching different from others?

There’s a couple of things really set my coaching apart.

  1. Splitting fact and emotion – both powerful tools to understand what’s going on.  The facts show it “as it is” (e.g. how much money you make by product) but the emotion (e.g. anger, annoyance, surprise) shines a light on our unconscious response.  Once understood, we can consciously use the emotion to influence the facts, explore options and make exciting plans.
  2. Evolving / finding work environments we’ll thrive in, by leaning into our hard-wired personality preferences so we enjoy working whilst also delivering great value.

What according to you has been the single most important thing that has contributed to your success as a coach?

My success as a coach comes from being authentically myself while connecting with others (mainly through networking).  I’m curious, a good listener, non-threatening and bring a calming presence.  I love talking with others, and exploring what’s going on for them – and if they bring an issue up, I often end up gently coaching and helping them solve it.  My passion and personality come through, and that attracts lovely people who gel well with me to become future clients.

Coaching is my passion and calling. That said, I every day invest time to further develop my coaching skills and competences and also facilitate the growth of new coaches as a coach mentor. I am successful as a coach as I have had a very diverse life experience. I have travelled to more than 50 countries, lived in different cultures and interacted with people with various backgrounds. I am naturally curious and authentic personality that allows me to connect with people on deeper levels, truly hear and understand them. That is essential to see and recognise each individual’s potential and limitations that is holding them back to be the best versions of themselves. My individual authenticity and diverse life experience inspires others to grow and achieve great results in all areas of life.
