Sometimes those goals fall apart in a blaze of glory!! The natural birth becomes emergency cesarean. The exclusive breastfeeding plan becomes a formula feeding plan. I also find it satisfying to help a family get through those tough times too.

Hi! My name is Chandler Gilow and I am so glad you are here. I am a wife, mom of two little girls, a L&D RN, and a Lactation Specialist. After giving birth to our second daughter while abroad (in the middle of language learning), I saw a hole in the support for expat families. My husband and I are currently stateside for education and in this season, I have launch The Global Birth Coach.

Amanda Abichar

I graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and Health. I am a Certified Exercise Physiologist, and Exercise is Medicine Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. After working in a clinical setting teaching fitness classes and personal training, I found my passion in the prenatal community.

I became certified in Prenatal and Postnatal Exercise. During my certification process I found the opportunity to become a certified Birth Doula. I felt this was a perfect way for me to strengthen, educate, and empower women before, during, and after labor. I am happy that I can now offer “full service” to women and their families during this exciting time of their lives.
